Tips on Improving Your Self-Esteem




One of the most important parts about Camp is the development self-confidence and self-awareness. That’s because we’re so lucky to be part of a supportive, empathetic, creative community! However, there are many obstacles during the school year that can get in the way of how we see ourselves. Bullying, too much homework, an overload of extracurricular activities, struggling friendships, stress at home — all of these factors can take a toll on your self-esteem. If you find yourself in a rough patch, just remember that we love you for who you are — and you should, too! Mental Health America has some great tips for you to build and maintain a positive perspective on who you are. Be sure to try some of these tactics anytime you’re feeling down and eventually they’ll become good habits.
