Week one is finally at an end, and what better way to celebrate than one of our classic Friday Night Concerts?
Last night’s performances featured many different artists of all ages and art forms, from poetry to rock bands! Our audience members even had the special treat of hearing many original pieces written by our very own campers, some of them making their debut for the first time on our Appel Farm theater stage. All of our performers were absolutely magnificent!
Appel Farm Arts Camp has even started a brand new tradition to our Friday Night Concerts: live visual artists! Some members of the art studio brought along their sketch pads and tools to create art while the performing artists put on their show. After the performance, all in attendance were invited to our theater gallery in the lobby to view some of the beautiful work our visual artist had created throughout the week and the live drawings created just that night!
Tonight our campers get a chance to take a trip around the world with our World Fair! The counselors get the chance to show off their hometowns, their cultures, and some mythological lands that have yet to be dreamt up. Stay tuned for pictures from tonight’s World Fair, and be sure to check out more photos from last night’s Friday Night Concert here! (Code: AF19)
