Taking Care of Our Community: A Message from Appel Farm Arts Camp

Taking Care of Our Community

A Message from Appel Farm Arts Camp

Appel Farm Arts Camp is a creative haven for creative kids! For many of our kids and teens, we are the light at the end of the tunnel after months of stress and rigor. We are  their oasis — a safe space to imagine, connect, explore, and take creative risks in a non-competitive and inclusive environment.

We don’t know what the coming weeks will look like, but we are all practicing getting more comfortable with the unknowable. We recognize the ever-changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and are following the directions of the CDC, World Health Organization (WHO), and our local and state health departments. As a member of the American Camp Association, the premiere camp accreditation agency, we are following their guidance and utilizing their wealth of knowledge and resources as the situation unfolds. Your child’s health and safety are our priority and we will continue partnering with parents to ensure the well-being of every camper. Be assured we will continue to make camp safe, fun, and full of Appel Farm spirit!

In a time when so much is beyond our control, we want to help our kids focus on what is in their control. With regards to camp, they can stay connected with Appel Farm Arts Camp, engage in our Social Distance Arts & Learning, be in touch with their camp friends and counselors during Virtual Camp, and find ways to Ignite Creativity, Kindness, and Confidence!

For more information about our policies, please visit Current Parents Area on our website. We will update information and policies if needed, so stay in touch! You can also reach us at (856) 358-6881 or contact me at jweekes@appelfarm.org.
