We can’t believe it’s nearly the end of the FIRST WEEK OF CAMP! This entire week has been so much fun, and we’re excited for the rest of the summer. The Friday Night Concert was a huge success, everyone who performed was incredibly talented. Today, we’ve had majors and minors as usual, then during rest hour we had the Appel Farm For Life ceremony. The ceremony will honor campers/counselors for their various years at Appel Farm. Tonight, we have the World Fair Campfire, there will be booths set-up with various cultural activities, as well as s’mores!
We’re practically at the halfway mark for our 2-week campers, which is crazy! Our 2-week campers and teachers are preparing for the 2-week showcase and enjoying the rest of their camp experience. Everyone has continued to work hard practicing or creating their performance week pieces. We can’t wait for tomorrow because it’s our first Lazy Sunday of the summer; campers will have the opportunity to sleep-in, join a workshop, or spend quality time with new friends!
